What changes the price

Tiles

Large-format porcelain gives a premium look at a controlled price. Natural marble costs more to buy, cut and maintain.

Fixtures

Concealed cisterns, rain showers and designer taps add both product and installation cost.

Layout

Moving a toilet or shower means new drainage and falls. In towers it may not be allowed at all over the apartment below.

Glass and joinery

Frameless shower screens and made-to-measure vanities cost more than standard units, but last longer and fit better.

How to get a fair price

Ask every contractor to price the same list: waterproofing system, tile type and size, fixture brands and models, and glass thickness. Then compare line by line. If one price is much lower, check whether waterproofing or proper floor falls are missing. Those problems only show up months later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Typically AED 15,000 for a basic ensuite refresh up to AED 60,000 or more for a full master bathroom with marble, a bespoke vanity and premium fixtures.
Usually 2 to 3 weeks, including strip-out, plumbing, waterproofing, tiling and fixtures. Waterproofing needs curing and testing time before tiling.
Yes. A proper membrane under the tiles prevents leaks into walls and the room or apartment below. It is invisible once finished, which is why cheap quotes sometimes leave it out.
In a villa it is usually possible with new drainage. In apartments many buildings restrict moving wet areas, so it must be checked with the building management first.
