How to Renovate Your Office Without Closing the Business

Most businesses cannot close for weeks while the office is renovated. With the right planning, the work can run around your team: in phases, after hours and with the noisy work scheduled when it hurts least. This is how we plan it.

Phased renovation

We divide the office into zones and renovate one at a time. The team moves to finished or temporary areas while the next zone is built. Phasing takes longer overall than an empty site, but the business keeps running. Each phase has its own handover so the team can move in as soon as it is ready.

After-hours and weekend work

Many Dubai office towers only allow noisy work (drilling, demolition, cutting) outside business hours, so planning around those hours is standard. Quiet work such as painting, joinery installation and finishing can often continue during the day. We agree the schedule with you and building management before starting.

Temporary partitions and sealed doors between work zones and occupied areas
Floor and furniture protection along access routes
Daily cleaning of the areas your team uses
Separate access for workers and materials where the building allows

IT, phones and furniture

Before each phase, plan where people sit, how network points, printers and phones move, and where furniture is stored. Data cabling and power for new workstations are planned with our in-house MEP team so everything works on day one.

Approvals and timeline
